worked with client staff and various accenture project teams to design, develop and implement interfaces to and from an sap financial based implementation. managed the design, construction and implementation of five complex interfaces. used and customized various eai products to accommodate the unique requirements of each interface.
artist payments management
managed new development and on-going support efforts for a browser based client server application. the application's primary function is to accommodate and control the payments to participants and guilds for a large entertainment company. a significant portion of the development and support activities were focused around the maintenance and enhancement of a large suite of data acquisition programs.
television contract accounting
conducted a feasibility study to identify the prospects of enhancing an existing contract accounting system versus purchasing a new system. various going forward scenarios were delivered to the client along with option variants for the more probable outcomes.
product availability decision support
managed the development of three new areas of functionality for an existing system. directed the work of two project teams concurrently to implement significant enhancements to the core system. the add-on functionality was highly customized to the specific requirements of the users. coordinated and facilitated a number of requirement and design sessions with all levels of the business unit to ensure that the modifications met the full needs of the users.
internet prescription refill
worked closely with a large technical team across multiple platforms to achieve the client’s objective of being able to process orders via the internet and having those orders fulfilled using a mainframe based legacy application. a number of technical obstacles were overcome as the technologies being employed, at the time, were not mature. coordinated with multiple vendors in crafting a practical and feasible technical design given the product constraints. the resulting system was designed to service a single region but was later modified to support a nationwide network of pharmacies as the application was widely accepted by the organization’s customers.
